Believe Media is one of the top producers of commercials and music videos in the world. Founded in 2000 by executive producers Elizabeth Silver and Luke Thornton, the company has
offices in
New York,
London and
Hollywood and represents some of the most talented and respected filmmakers in the world today.
Believe has distinguished itself in a crowded field by combining global reach with the personalized attention of a boutique. More importantly, it stands out through the incredible creative talent and production know-how that it has to offer as evidenced by its consistent ability to win important assignments for the world's best known brands. Recent projects include c
ampaigns for Nissan, Nike, Miller, Nike, BMW, Budweiser and Coca-Cola.
Innovation has also been key to Believe's success. The company was
among the first to see the potential in branded entertainment and viral advertising and has an in-house department focused on new forms of advertising. Believe was a co-creator, with Fallon, of BMW's celebrated BMW Films project. It has also produced non-traditional advertising for Nike, Coke and Cadillac,
among others.
Additionally, Believe enjoys the advantage of having its home base at Hollywood Center Studios. "We've been on the lot since we launched," observes Believe Media producer Vitaly Koshman. "Here, we are in the center of everything and have access to all the lot facilities, assured parking for all our guests, the excitement of a studio lot and space for our growing company."
Being located on the lot is certainly convenient for projects that require a stage shoot, especially for large scale projects or projects with unusual requirements. "We recently shot a spot for Genworth Financial with an elephant," recalls Koshman. "We required a sound stage and had to keep two elephants on the lot for an entire day. Fortunately, the elephants and their trainers had all the space needed for their special care."
Believe is currently producing a huge c
ampaign for the Sony PlayStation PSP with Vogel Villar-Rios directing for TBWA Chiat Day. As for the future, it is hard to predict what this dyn
amic, visionary company might do next, but one thing is certain, it intends to remain firmly anchored at Hollywood Center Studios. The secret to success in the highly competitive world of advertising, explains Koshman is "location, location, location."
